What is there to celebrate at the end of the last decade? If you’re a rugby fan you’d probably say, ‘A lot!’

If you’re wondering if you are the only one who seems to be finding more month at the end of your pay check, you’ll be comforted to know you are not alone. However, let’s look at the stats. We’re 20% poorer than we were (GDP per person- Capita) down 20%! And that’s before inflation. That’s partly a result of the fact, that we’re living off 3/4 of the income we had 10 years ago. Not much to celebrate. Oh, and the Russians by the way are 3 times, yes +200%, richer over the same period – that’s increasingly powerful financial management.
